Come and have a cup of coffee, a breakfast taco, and learn how to do business with Oncor, Chevron, and HEB. These companies are looking for certified minority businesses to do business with. They will tell you what they are buying and what they are not! As an added bonus, lean how to get Certified as a Minority Business. Topics covered will include: Completing tax returns, what is and what is not taxable? Know your responsibilities as a taxpayer, Comptroller service and publications and open Q&A session. Seminar objective: To give taxpayers the knowledge required to collect and report accurately the proper sales tax and to maintain required records.

The second of SBDC’s “core” seminars is designed to help you select effective ways of advertising your business. It will give you the skills to select the best ways of deciding what strategies to adopt in order to get your business known in the community
