Aaron and Jamie first contacted the UTPB-SBDC in June 2017 to open the first brewery in Midland, Texas.   The owners had done a lot of market and industry research.  The SBDC assisted him with putting together and editing his business plan, worked diligently on the financial projections, and helped make contacts to distribute their product. They started selling their beer at one bar and have grown to five local establishments.  As bars and restaurants shut down due to the COVID-19 disaster, the owners got creative and took advantage of the state, allowing bars to sell alcohol to-go.  They created an effective promotion selling Growlers of their beer directly to patrons.  This strategy offset the potential revenue shortfall.

In October 2017, the owners were awarded a grant from the City of Midland to start their business.
