Coronavirus (COVID-19) Recovery Resources

Featured Success Story

Family Armory & Indoor Range

Tony and Velina Grijalva first contacted the SBDC in July 2012. Tony had already done a lot of research about what it would take to open an indoor gun range. We assisted him with putting together and editing his business plan and worked diligently on the financial projections. Throughout the next year, Tony had to restructure the project and scale it back. We assisted with the changes to the business plan and coached the clients on the best way to present this project to the bankers.

In February 2015, Tony and Velina and their equity partner were finally approved for the SBA loan with Southwest Bank. On May 15, 2015, F.A.I.R had a ribbon-cutting for their groundbreaking ceremony. Don't forget to visit his shop when you get a chance!

Due to covid-19 and recommendations from the CDC, all workshops will be postponed until further notice.
