Why are we FREE?
We are part of University of Texas Permian Basin and are affiliated with the Northwest Texas SBDC Region. We receive our financial support from UTPB, the United States Small Business Administration, the State of Texas and other sources.Consulting services are always offered free of charge and our consultants are prepared to provide small business help for many aspects of your business from advertising to exporting to financing.
Seminars and specialized services are offered at low-cost to attendees and clients and are a great resource for networking with other business owners while brushing up on skills like marketing, copywriting, and human resources.
We are a government agency with a mission to help small businesses succeed. Because we receive funding from the federal government and State of Texas, we are able to offer free and low-cost services to our clients. Services include business plan assistance, financial projections, tax information, marketing plans, seminars and workshops, feasibility studies, and research services.
Our office is one of six in the Northwest Texas SBDC Region and we assist clients in the 16 counties of West Texas’ Permian Basin. Our sister centers in Abilene, Amarillo, Granbury, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls serve clients throughout the rest of West Texas. Not located in West Texas? No problem!
